Hi everyone! Can you believe it’s August already?? I always love this time of year because it is so full of energy as everyone gears up for the new season. Is anyone else craving a summer get away like I am? This Tropical Floral dress definitely reads vacation in the print but I love the elegant cut of it. Summer is still here so I decided to inject even more color into the look!
Are you guys preparing yourself for Fall yet whether mentally or in terms of your wardrobe? Or are we not letting Summer escape us anytime soon? I’ve started buying some transitioning and early Fall pieces in this haul video! Check it out:
Do you have pieces in your closet that go unworn because it’s too see-through or because you wouldn’t dare expose your bra or panty line? This is a topic that isn’t too often covered and I was truly inspired because I too face many of these issues all the time!
Victoria Secret’s Low-Back Strap, One Size
There are so many ways we can conceal our undergarments so I felt it was best to demonstrate in a video. I tried to pack in as much information as I possibly could so I hope you enjoy!
You may notice that my blog has received a bit of a facelift Do check out the mobile version as well and let me know what you think!
Hey everyone! I’m back with an outfit post; let’s pretend it only feels like it has been ages 😀 This embroidered lace maxi skirt, which was an awesome find at Marshalls, has been sitting in my closet waiting to be styled. I have never received so many compliments–everyone of different ages loved the skirt!
If you’ve watched my Summer Fashion Haul this Nasty Gal necklace should look familiar I recently found this Chambray-like thin short sleeve top that though casual, I felt had that right amount of substance to pair well with the skirt. Normally I have little luck locating Marshalls or TJ Maxx finds online but whenever I can will most certainly link it for you guys!
TIP! If you aren’t already shopping in the Women’s section of discount stores (or really any store in general), you should! The clothing in those aisles tend to be of better quality than that of what you would find in the Junior’s section for example. It’s where I found this top at Marshalls
I’m a lover of all kinds of hats but this Panama straw hat is perfect in this humidity and really needed some more lovin’ as well. I’m also currently loving my Fjord watch that was gifted to me. Hopefully they will have shopping available on their site soon as i’m really liking the aesthetic of their pieces!
This Cole Haan crossbody bag is a TJ Maxx find and the shoes I scored from Marshalls. You would think I was sponsored by them! Haha but I honestly have loved shopping at these stores since I was a kid (you can thank my Mom).
Let me know what you think of the outfit! As always thanks for dropping by and I hope you all have a great weekend!
I thought it would be fun to do a throwback for throwback Thursday. Realizing that I never shared these pictures shot by my talented friend, Hannah Gweun, it seemed appropriate. This was a fun impromptu shoot after grabbing a bite from Urthe Caffe in downtown LA last Fall. I look back and reminisce on how amazing my experience of temporarily moving to a different city was. For me it’s a great reminder to never stop dreaming and that life is too short.
Speaking of fashion, check out my new Spring Haul! There is a GIVEAWAY included at the end of the video
While jamming out to the pop music that was playing as we waited in line at Atlanta’s new ferris wheel, Skyview Atlanta, I couldn’t help but feel a little giddy. The warmth from the sun balanced out the light chill in the air perfectly and i’m honestly excited for Spring to near.
The color palette of my outfit inspired the eye look and with the slight change in weather it was time to switch it up from my usual neutrals. I am wearing Betrayal and Smokeout from the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette.
The Pantone color of the year 2014 is Radiant Orchid and I can’t really explain why this excites me other than the fact that I am just simply in love with this color. To balance the vividness of the bag I decided to integrate subtle colors such as the pale mint green of my shirt and deep faded berry of my scarf.
Boyfriend blazer: H&M | Mint green sweater, Scarf, and Boots: Forever 21 | Necklace: Target
Hey everyone! We last left off with exploring and further experiencing life in L.A. and as you may know Matt and I decided to plant ourselves back in Atlanta. There is still much to discover in our hometown and I truly love it here. Really the only point I’m making is that life is what you make of it regardless of where you are. Too deep too soon? Well you know..haha
One of our goals, or I guess in lieu of the new year, “resolutions” for 2014 is to set time to be more active and continue exploring.
Which brings us to the new Pumas. It’s like a nice little reminder of “get away from that computer every now and then!”.
