Hey guys! Thank you all for entering my last giveaway! If you missed it, here’s another one mostly featuring Benefit products this time I split them into sets that made sense in my mind..haha such as the first set including must-haves and necessities. For the second since the face products are geared towards Medium skintone, I thought the blush and lip color would also work great! The last set is for my neutral/nude lovers Have fun and good luck!
Hey guys! I’ve been doing some serious cleaning out of my makeup and a lot of it has gone untouched/unused! Nothing wrong with them! I just have a lot of the same items already and i’d much rather someone else have a chance to play with ’em too! <3 I have more to give away but let’s start with these Sigma sets; stay tuned for more items i’m giving away in future posts! Have fun and good luck with the Giveaways
You may have noticed that I have been donning the midi length quite frequently lately (unintentionally) and by nature these types of dresses or skirts tend to be on the dressier side. Because they generally also hit around the mid calf area, pairing the look with heels is usually the safer option. I went against everything, because I can. And I think it’s a lot more fun this way. If you feel good in it, wear it because in my opinion when it comes to personal style there are no rules. I styled this dress in a way that I could see myself roaming around the streets in or even on a school campus in.
Can we also mention how excited I am about Fall being right around the corner? This look would work perfectly as a transitional Summer to Fall look You guys know i’m also a huge fan of affordable fashion and accessible pieces so this has been a fun collaboration with JCPenney! I have been so incredibly grateful and appreciative of your love and support so what better way to wrap things up than with a giveaway? There are multiple ways to Enter in this widget below, good luck! xoxo, Christine
Hi everyone! I hope you’ve all been doing well. I suppose I could fill you in on some life updates (nothing too too major) but as some of you know I do freelance as well as manage my social media and YouTube. It is certainly wedding season and the bulk of my freelancing work is usually bridal/bridal party makeup. You may have noticed that I don’t really advertise this much since dates get booked up quickly or other engagements fill up the time slots and I simply don’t like turning anyone down haha (such a softie). I also have a couple very close friends to me who are getting married this year (more to come soon I just know it!) They both invited me to be a bridesmaid which is exciting since I’ve never been one before!
In other news, Sigma Beauty has me featured on their site right now! If you didn’t receive the e-mail newsletter, they did host a Giveaway on their blog of my Top Picks that has recently ended. Do check out their post to see what I had to say on the selected brushes as well as my responses to their fun questionnaire here!
If you missed out on their Giveaway, no worries because they’re letting me host one of my own! You all know I love you right? I am always so appreciative of your support because it not only makes me incredibly happy, it also allows me to continue doing what I love to do. <3

You might be thinking, “Aren’t you a little late on this Christine?” haha as if you all haven’t been bombarded enough with posts and tutorials utilizing this palette. If you are still on the fence about spending $52 on this rose and taupe toned neutral eyeshadow (12 brand new shades, yay for no repeats!) palette, then I hope my thoughts can provide a bit more insight. Or why not take a crack at possibly winning your own Naked 3 palette?
As you may know, Urban Decay has previously launched their Naked 1 (consisting of mostly warm and bronze neutral tones) and Naked 2 (consisting of cooler neutral tones) palettes. What does the Naked 3 have to offer? Let’s take a closer look at the shades.
Strange – pale neutral pink matte-satin, the pink undertone in this is very slight so it is easily mistaken as a pale matte beige, it applies smoothly with good color pay off
Dust – pale metallic pink shimmer with iridescent micro-glitter, this one is sheer with loose texture, it does not apply evenly unless applied wet, I especially like to “dust” this underneath the center of my lower lashline for that cute “light up your eyes” sparkle
Burnout – light pinky-peach satin, I like to describe this as an apricot shade, it is one of my favorites because of its subtlety in adding a soft warm glow, great as a quick wash of color over the lid for everyday as well
Limit –light dusty rose matte, appears as a matte light mauve brown, great shade for those who may find other transitional browns or soft browns to look harsh or muddy
Buzz – metallic rose shimmer with silver micro-glitter, has that amazing buttery texture and quality just like the rest of the following metallic shades in this palette that we all have come to love about Urban Decay’s shadows
Trick – light metallic pinky-copper shimmer with tonal micro-sparkle, this shade is like a rose gold in all it’s glory, it shimmers and sparkles and just demands attention
Nooner – medium pinky-brown matte, pigmented, smooth, awesome, who doesn’t love a good matte shade?
Liar – medium metallic mauve shimmer, if Buzz and Factory had a baby I think it would be this, the mauve pink flash gives it a unique look
Factory – pinky-brown satin, warm deep rich brown, love the smooth texture
Mugshot – metallic taupe shimmer with slight pink shift, gorgeous and easy to wear satin taupe shade that I felt was missing from the previous two palettes
Darkside – deep taupe-mauve satin, gorgeous deep cocoa taupe shade, love the amount of depth this one has
Blackheart – smoky black matte with rosy red micro-sparkle, this is the kind of shade that always looks more gorgeous in the pan but I definitely appreciate that it is matte

Final thoughts: This palette possesses an ethereal and romantic vibe. I even love that there is no chunky glitter, just delicate micro-glitter in some of the shades that add brilliance and shine. If you are fearing that this palette may have too much of a rosy or pink tone, the taupe shades are amongst my favorite and would do an excellent job of balancing them out. Are many of these shades dupe-able? Yes. I found myself being reminded of other similar shades to Burnout, Mugshot, and Darkside that I own and love. I do think the shades are new and unique enough that even if you own both the Naked 1 and Naked 2, you won’t be disappointed.
So are you planning or considering including this one in your collection? Let me know your thoughts!
GIVEAWAY TIME! I went out and bought an additional Urban Decay Naked 3 palette to give away to you guys for being such awesome and loving supporters I wouldn’t typically do that if I didn’t enjoy the palette myself! There are multiple ways to enter via this nifty widget:
