Hey guys! I’m often getting asked about my sunglasses and it’s a bummer when they no longer exist anywhere or I find them at a boutique and have no idea where you can grab one for yourself. Well today i’m excited to let you know that you can get your hands on this gorgeousH&Mrose gold pairand they’re only $10! They are even prettier in person and oh so reflective! I also figured i’d tidy myself up a little by dressing up this real slouchy and casual Forever 21 t-shirt dress and came up with quite a greige (grey + beige) combo.
Like my literal title? haha but I still love the way the shots came out. So what’s new? I’ve finally started getting laser hair removal treatment (just my face and underarms for now). I’ve also made it a point to work out almost everyday and eat much healthier this year. It really has had an amazing effect on my mood and energy levels. It’s one of the ways i’m working towards being the best version of myself that I can be How has your year been looking so far?
I’m pretty obsessed with this top and other tops like it. I’m also craving warmer weather at the moment; a warm day in winter is like nature’s gift to my soul.
Hi guys! I feel like I still need to reflect on 2014..not too late right? haha maybe that will be for an upcoming post but as for the first trip of 2015 me and Matt ventured out to Los Angeles for a couple days. It was way too short of a trip but we had an amazing time as usual.
Not sure how we found this place (Milo and Olive), may have came up when we were searching for a brunch place and oh man this breakfast pizza took the meaning of “food coma” to another level. They also had a ton of yummy pastries which we devoured on the way to Pasadena.
Summer is officially over y’all which means my favorite season is here! Time to pull out some thicker knits and rich hues to mix and match with your summer faves. I love this transitioning period because it allows you to be creative and work with what you already have in your closet. This past weekend I felt like going a little flirty, a little elegant while still grounding the look with a chunky heel to tone down the girly-ness.
You may have noticed that I have been donning the midi length quite frequently lately (unintentionally) and by nature these types of dresses or skirts tend to be on the dressier side. Because they generally also hit around the mid calf area, pairing the look with heels is usually the safer option. I went against everything, because I can. And I think it’s a lot more fun this way. If you feel good in it, wear it because in my opinion when it comes to personal style there are no rules. I styled this dress in a way that I could see myself roaming around the streets in or even on a school campus in.
Can we also mention how excited I am about Fall being right around the corner? This look would work perfectly as a transitional Summer to Fall look You guys know i’m also a huge fan of affordable fashion and accessible pieces so this has been a fun collaboration with JCPenney! I have been so incredibly grateful and appreciative of your love and support so what better way to wrap things up than with a giveaway? Here is the second look I wore for the evening time to Charlotte Ronson’s Presentation for her S/S 2015 line at New York Fashion Week! The top and skirt are from her I ‘Heart’ Ronson Fall collection currently sold at JCPenney. It’s really fun to see how she drew inspiration from her Fall line to create more affordable pieces. I couldn’t help but feel like a boss lady in this one with the bold blue color and the houndstooth print paired with the ladylike cut. Head on over to my channel to see me Get Ready in this look!
