While jamming out to the pop music that was playing as we waited in line at Atlanta’s new ferris wheel, Skyview Atlanta, I couldn’t help but feel a little giddy. The warmth from the sun balanced out the light chill in the air perfectly and i’m honestly excited for Spring to near.
The color palette of my outfit inspired the eye look and with the slight change in weather it was time to switch it up from my usual neutrals. I am wearing Betrayal and Smokeout from the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette.
The Pantone color of the year 2014 is Radiant Orchid and I can’t really explain why this excites me other than the fact that I am just simply in love with this color. To balance the vividness of the bag I decided to integrate subtle colors such as the pale mint green of my shirt and deep faded berry of my scarf.

Hey everyone! We last left off with exploring and further experiencing life in L.A. and as you may know Matt and I decided to plant ourselves back in Atlanta. There is still much to discover in our hometown and I truly love it here. Really the only point I’m making is that life is what you make of it regardless of where you are. Too deep too soon? Well you know..haha
One of our goals, or I guess in lieu of the new year, “resolutions” for 2014 is to set time to be more active and continue exploring.
Which brings us to the new Pumas. It’s like a nice little reminder of “get away from that computer every now and then!”.
“The Toron” sandwich from Baco Mercat which consists of oxtail hash, cheddar tater, and horseradish was sinfully delicious; like no joke it was foodgasmic. I flat out said “this is greasy but in the best way possible!” 0_o.
See how happy I am walking out after this meal? Yup forget the diamonds, you can win me over with food! 😀
What I was wearing on this hot and sunny LA day:

Well this cupcake store was right across the street so I couldn’t resist. My favorite is the lemon flavor cupcake and the banana walnut is super yummy too!
I’ve been spending quite a bit of time filming and editing but I am enjoying my time out here in L.A.! This post is definitely more of a food post so if you’re looking for more outfits and fashion inspiration definitely check out my latest video!
Hi everyone! I just got back from a trip to Las Vegas with my family. Oddly enough the only times i’ve been out here is with my family. This was my first time visiting this beautiful scenic route out at Red Rock Canyon. Despite the temperature reaching record highs we managed to get some shots. It was hard to choose which ones as my sister Sadie did such a great job with this impromptu shoot. Hope you enjoy the images!
Recently I dined out with some girlfriends at a restaurant called Parish to celebrate a birthday. It is quite dark inside this historical space but fortunately we sat right by a large window. I appreciate amazing natural lighting too much to not have taken advantage of it! Everything looks mouth-wateringly delicious doesn’t it??
I rarely crave fried chicken (ironic since i’m down here in the south) but seriously if you order anything from here–get the fried chicken! It has the right amount of breading and crisp with a light sweetness that just leaves you wanting more!
Onto the outfit! I knew the restaurant had more of a casual yet trendy ambience so I decided to dress up my day wear a little for our girls’ evening out. I switched out my day bag for this cute little Forever 21 chevron clutch. Then I threw on my Zara red sandal heels (still loving these too much) and a punch-y lip color. All quick little changes were made along with some quick photos taken by my sister 10-15 minutes right before reservation time!
I’ve loved this floral romper since last summer and i’m still wearing it and styling it in different ways. It was really warm out that day but I wanted an extra cover up and layering piece. The light chambray vest has been perfect over tanks and such and suits my more casual style.
I have to admit this outfit didn’t come “naturally” to me even though it kind of exudes a nature-like and earthy vibe doesn’t it? Ok sorry but if we are going to be friends you’re going to have to put up with my lame jokes 😛
Many days I question and struggle with what I want to wear. This one was a result of dumping another outfit that I felt was too try-hard for the mood I was in that day.
I told myself to dial it down and go with something casual; more effortless. The last missing component was of course: SHOES! Why else do we girls always feel like we need a billion shoes?
Even if in your mind you may think “nope that is just a strange pairing”, try it anyways! Many pairs of shoes later, I slipped on the neon sandals and smiled with content
