Hey guys! Thank you all for entering my last giveaway! If you missed it, here’s another one mostly featuring Benefit products this time I split them into sets that made sense in my mind..haha such as the first set including must-haves and necessities. For the second since the face products are geared towards Medium skintone, I thought the blush and lip color would also work great! The last set is for my neutral/nude lovers Have fun and good luck!
Hey guys! I’ve been doing some serious cleaning out of my makeup and a lot of it has gone untouched/unused! Nothing wrong with them! I just have a lot of the same items already and i’d much rather someone else have a chance to play with ’em too! <3 I have more to give away but let’s start with these Sigma sets; stay tuned for more items i’m giving away in future posts! Have fun and good luck with the Giveaways
Like my literal title? haha but I still love the way the shots came out. So what’s new? I’ve finally started getting laser hair removal treatment (just my face and underarms for now). I’ve also made it a point to work out almost everyday and eat much healthier this year. It really has had an amazing effect on my mood and energy levels. It’s one of the ways i’m working towards being the best version of myself that I can be How has your year been looking so far?
I’m pretty obsessed with this top and other tops like it. I’m also craving warmer weather at the moment; a warm day in winter is like nature’s gift to my soul.
Get Ready with Me video to see what’s on my face and how I got ready for these pictures!**
Hi guys! I feel like I still need to reflect on 2014..not too late right? haha maybe that will be for an upcoming post but as for the first trip of 2015 me and Matt ventured out to Los Angeles for a couple days. It was way too short of a trip but we had an amazing time as usual.
Not sure how we found this place (Milo and Olive), may have came up when we were searching for a brunch place and oh man this breakfast pizza took the meaning of “food coma” to another level. They also had a ton of yummy pastries which we devoured on the way to Pasadena.
Made a quick stop at IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show) as I haven’t been back ever since this show was still in the Summer!
Not sure how we had room in our bellies after stopping by Flour + Tea (adorable cafe) for some macarons and bubble tea but we couldn’t pass up on ramen.
Quick outfit change for the party: lovee this structured knit dress as it’s super comfy, doesn’t wrinkle so great for travel, and warm enough for the chilly winter nights in LA, score.
Sigma always knows how to throw a party and um can we talk about this candy bar that’s mostly comprised of makeup? I’m not complaining haha
With Simone (founder of Sigma) and Patrick Starr! Seriously both incredibly sweet and down to earth
Ok on the way back to LA that night we had to stop by the Urban Lights at LACMA, how could we not? Just love it! And..we might have made a stop at In-N-Out..oh lordy.
Next morning before our flight back we yet again brunched and we brunched hard (at Republique). The salmon tartine with avocado was calling my name.
Milk was down the street *cries so forgive the gluttony please. I still love and miss LA Can’t wait until the next trip..hopefully it’ll be a longer one! I shall leave you with..
Hey guys! I thought it’d be fun to have my boyfriend guest blog today! Be nice and welcome him
Thanks Christine! Matt here and just taking a break from my world of food to share with you a fun little day out together.
She’s been wanting to go horseback riding for a little while now and I figured what a better way to celebrate our time together than to plan a little horseback ride for two. I ended up finding a trail ride company in this beautiful little progressive village, located about 25 minutes southwest of Atlanta, called Serenbe; it has acres of preserved forests and meadows with miles of nature trails. It was perfect. Made sure Christine was free and locked in our reservation!
Fast forward to the day of our reservation. The weather was super cooperative, there was no traffic on the highway, and Christine was nothing but smiles, excited about this new experience we were about to share together (did I mention this was also my first time on horseback)? After the lengthy drive, we arrive at Serenbe and just as I put the car in park… we get an unfortunate text that the guide fell ill and was unable to take us anymore. Oh no!! I now was having an internal monologue filled with laughter and screams. All the precautions and planning, never did I think the guide would be the missing link. lol.
Anyways, Christine and I aren’t the type to get irate because of something like this. Life happens. We just messaged back to the lady hoping she was alright and that we would reach out later to reschedule. We then just made the most of the scenario and had a mini photo shoot since the weather was awesome, she was looking great in her outfit and I happened to have my camera~
Since our afternoon was now free, we took a private tour of a nearby sheep farm that a friend works at and then headed to Peachtree City (something she’s also been wanting to do) to tour the place via golf cart. The city is extra unique because they have extended / paved side walks that are devoted to golf carts!! It’s so awesome to see cars and golf carts all around. Did I mention they even have golf cart specific parking spots?! Too fun.
Not exactly the day I had planned for Christine but we made the most of it! Hope you guys enjoyed this and have a great weekend!
Until next time~!
I had the honor of attending my friend’s wedding recently and I am so incredibly happy for her! She is one of those selfless and thoughtful friends that make you want to be a better person than you already are so it’s no surprise that she is loved by many.
This adorable dress had been sitting on my clothing rack for too long now just waiting for the right occasion to be worn. I’m definitely kind of having an oversized and billowy moment.
